F.No.34/8/2015 - L.R./1129 :- In exercise of powers conferred upon by sub section

(g) of section 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition ,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 read with Government of India, Ministry of Home

Afirs notification issued vide S. O 3239 (E) dated 30.11.2015 the appropriate Government

for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep i.e. Hon’ble Administrator is pleased to notifiy the

Additional District Magistrate, Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Kavaratti to exercise the

powers of Collector as per provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency

in Land Acquisition , Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and rules framed there

under.

NOTIFICATION

F.No.34/8/2015 - L.R./1130 :- In exercise of powers conferred by sub section (e) (ii) of

section 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation

and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013) read with Government of India, Ministry of Home

Afirs Notification issued vide S. O 3239 (E), dated 30.11.2015, and Government of India,

Ministry of Home Affirs vide letter F. No. U - 11030/5/2022 - Union Territory of Lakshadweep

dated 26.08.2022, the appropriate Government for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep

i.e. Hon’ble Administrator is pleased to notify the District Collector, Lakshadweep to be the

‘Appropriate Government’ for the entire District of Lakshadweep and the Officer shall exercise

the powers of ‘Appropriate Government’ as per provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation

and Transparency in Land Acquisition , Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 and rules

framed there under.
