NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the Notification No. 9/4/2022-DOP(PE)(2) dated 16.11.2022,
the Administrator of Lakshadweep, in exercise of powers conferred upon him under
sub-section (2), (6), (7), (8) and (9) of section 12 of the Lakshadweep Panchayat
Regulation 2022, is pleased to determine the total number of seats (including the
seat of Sarpanch) of each Gram Panchayat and the number of seats to be reserved
for women, scheduled tribes, and for women belonging to scheduled tribes, in each
Gram Panchayat as specified hereunder:

section 12 of the Lakshadweep Panchayat Regulation 2022, the Administrator of
Lakshadweep is hereby pleased to reserve the offices of Sarpanch in Gram
Panchayat for women, scheduled tribes, and for women belonging to scheduled
tribes as specified hereunder:

Furthermore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) and
(5) of section 58 of the Lakshadweep Panchayat Regulation 2022, the Administrator
of UT of Lakshadweep is hereby pleased to determine the total number of seats in
the District Panchayat of Lakshadweep and number of seats to be reserved for
women, scheduled tribes, and for women belonging to scheduled tribes as specified
