F. No. 11/9/2009- DPC/183:- In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 12

(1) of MGNREG Act, 2005, and in supersession of the Notification F .No. 2/3/2005-DOP &

RD dated 29.03.2008, F. No. 11/9/2009- DPC dated 04.08.2016 and F. No. 11/9/2009-

DPC dated 27.12. 2019, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased

to reconstitute the State Employment Guarantee Council known as the ‘‘Lakshadweep

Employment Guarantee Council ’’ under the Chairman of Secretary (Rural Development)

with the following Official members.

Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat

The members shall hold their Offices as long as they are serving in their respective

departments . The duties and functions of the Lakshadweep Employment Guarantee Council

are as prescribed under Section 12 (3) of the MGNREG Act, 2005.

This Notification shall have effect from the date of publication in the Lakshadweep

Gazette.

This issues with the approval of Secretary (Rural Development), Union Territory of

Lakshadweep vide Diary No. 2769 dated 07.03.2022.

The term of Office of the non-official members shall be for a period of two years

with effect from the date of publishing the Notification in the Lakshadweep Gazette.

The duties and functions of the Lakshadweep Employement Guarantee Council. are

detailed in this Administration’s Notification F .No. 2/3/2005-DOP & RD dated 29.03.2008.

This supersedes the Notification F. No. 11/9/2009- DPC (2)/130 dated 27.12.2019.

This issues with the approval of Secretary (Rural Development), Union Territory of

Lakshadweep vide Diary No. 2769 dated 07.03.2022.

the Registrar of birth and death, Kavaratti Island issued dated 02/08/1999 as

SADIKA and in AADHAAR CARD issued by Government of India and in VOTERS ID

issued by Election Commission of India, my name is written as SHAHIDA.

4. I hereby declare that both the names pertain to the one and same person and my real

name is SHAHIDA as entered in Aadhaar Card and other documents except

Birth Certificate.

5. That is my true and correct statement.
