In exercise of powers conferred by sub - section (1) of section 32 of

Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act

2013, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep hereby designates

the Director, Social Welfare and Tribal Affairs as the authority to perform the

functions specified under section 31 of the Prohibition of Employment as

Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013.
