NOTIFICATION

F.No.10/1/2023-Coop/217 : In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (3) and

sub section (4) of Section 68 of the Lakshadweep Co-operative Societies Regulation, 2022,

the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to constitute the Coopera

tive Election Authority consisting of a Cooperative Election Officer and a Secretary to the

Cooperative Election Authority, and accordingly appoint the following officers:

1. Shri. Padmakar Ram Tripathi, DANICS - Cooperative Election Officer.

2. Shri. Jagdish Sharma, DANICS- Secretary to the Cooperative Election Authority.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (5) of Section 68 of the

Lakshadweep Co-operative Societies Regulation, 2022, the Registrar of Co-operative

Societies is hereby authorized to provide the necessary machinery and staff required for the

smooth conduct of elections by the Cooperative Election Officer.

This notification shall come into force from the date on which the above officers assume

charge of their respective assignments and shall remain in force during the period officers

hold the charges.
