Regarding Proposed Modification in the Sanctioned Planning Proposals in Sector-5

of Dharavi Notified Area.

WHEREAS, the Government of Maharashtra by Notification No. TPB-4304 / 322 / CR-56 / 04 /

UD-11, dated 9th March 2005 and No. TPB-4309 / 3499 / No. 89 / 09 / UD-11, dated 25th June 2009

promulgated in exercise of its powers conferred by sub-section (1B) of Section 40 of the

Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 appointed the Slum Rehabilitation Authority

(hereinafter referred to by its acronym SRA) to be the Special Planning Authority (hereinafter

referred to as the said Authority) for “ Dharavi Notified Area ” (hereinafter referred to as “ the

Notified Area ”) specified in the schedules given thereunder in respective notifications as detailed

below :—

AND WHEREAS, the Government of Maharashtra under substituted of Section 115(3) Section

40(3)(d) of the M.R. & T.P. Act, 1966, vide Notification No. ]õÒ{ÉÒ¤ÉÒ. 4314/810/ |É. Gò. 203/2014/xÉÊ´É-11,

dated 3rd March 2016 has accorded final sanction to the Planning proposals for the Dharavi

Notified Area (hereinafter referred to as the said “ Planning Proposals ”).

AND WHEREAS, in the said Planning Proposals, in Sector-5, “ Mahim Nature Park ” was

shown as excluded property which is, now, for better planning purpose proposed to be merged in

Dharavi Redevelopment Project Area, to be shown as Included Property in DRP area as given in

the schedule here below :—

AND WHEREAS, the said Authority by its resolution No.1, dated 12.01.2013 has authorised

the Chief Executive Officer & Officer on Special Duty to publish the modifications in the Planning

Proposal in the manner as laid down in Section 115 as substituted by clause (d) of sub-section (3)

of Section 40 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 for inviting the objections

and suggestions thereto from the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, Notice is being given for inviting objections and/or suggestions, to the

above proposed modification in the Planning Proposal. These objections and/or suggestions should

be communicated in writing within one month from the date of publication of this notice to the

Chief Executive Officer & Officer on Special Duty, Dharavi Redevelopment Project, Slum

Rehabilitation Authority, 5th Floor, Griha Nirman Bhavan, Bandra (East), Mumbai 400 051.

Objections and/or suggestions received after the prescribed time limit shall not be considered.

A copy of the plan showing the above modifications in the Planning Proposals is available

for inspection to the public at the office of the Chief Executive Officer & Officer on Special Duty,

Dharavi Redevelopment Project, Slum Rehabilitation Authority, 5th Floor, Griha Nirman Bhavan,

Bandra (East), Mumbai 400 051, during office hours on any working day. Copies of the modifications

in the Planning Proposal are also available for inspection to the public at the following offices :—

(1) The Chief Engineer, Development Plan, 4th floor, Head Office, Municipal Corporation

of Greater Mumbai, Mumbai.
