जनतेला िदलेली िवशेष सेवा आहे, आिण त्यामुळे सदर रÎत्यावर िक.मी.1/200 (काठोडा), िक.मी.38/600 (वणी) आिण

िक.मी.70/100 (धनोरा फाटा) येथे पथकर Î थानक उभारून पथकर आकारणे व वसुली करणे महाराÍटर् शासनास योग्य वाटत

आहे ;

(1-क), (1-ड) आिण (1-इ) ǎारे Ģदान करण्यात आलेÊया आिण त्याला समथर्नीय करणाऱ्या अिधकारांचा वापर करून

महाराÍटर् शासन याǎारे घोषीत करते की, खाजगीकरणाच्या माध्यमातून “डीबीएफओटी” तत्त्वावर आय.Ëही.आर.सी.एल.

चंदर्पूर टोलवेज िल. यांनी Îवखचार्ने करंजी-वणी-घुग्गुस-चंदर्पूर मागार्चे चौपदरीकरण (Ģ.रा.मा.6 व 7) िक.मी.0/000 ते

2. खालील वाहनांना पथकरातुन सूट देण्यात येईल.—

3. पथकर दराचा फलक पथकर नाक्यावर सवार्ंना िदसेल अशा पljतीने लावण्यात यावा. तसेच वाहनधारकांस Ģत्येक वेळी

पथकर शुÊक वसुलीची संगणकीकृत पावती देण्यात यावी.

4. पथकर नाक्यावर सवार्ंना िदसेल अशा पljतीने इलेक्टर्ॉिनक फलक लावण्यात यावा.

टीप.—

पथकर शुÊकाच्या दरामध्ये खालीलĢमाणे सूट देण्यात येईल:—

(1)

पथकराच्या 50 कुपन्सची पुिÎतका आगाऊ खरेदी करणाऱ्यास पुिÎतकेच्या िकमतीमध्ये 10 टक्के सवलत देण्यात

येईल.

(2)

पथकराच्या 100 कुपन्सची पुिÎतका आगाऊ खरेदी करणाऱ्यास पुिÎतकेच्या िकमतीमध्ये 20 टक्के सवलत

देण्यात येईल.

(3) वारंवार Ģवास करणाऱ्या वाहनांसाठी परतीच्या Ģवासाचे व दैिनक पासाचे दर हे त्या वाहनाच्या एकेरी Ģवास

दराच्या अनुकर्मे दीड पट व अडीच पट राहतील. परतीच्या Ģवासाचा पास व दैिनक पास हा ज्या िदवशी पास

काढला जाईल त्या िदवशीच्या रातर्ी 12-00 वाजेपयȊत गर्ाǩ राहील.

(4) मािसक पासाचे दर एकेरी Ģवास दराच्या 50 पट राहतील.

NOTIFICATION

MAHARASHTRA MOTOR VEHICLES TAX ACT.

No. PSP.2009/CR-15/L.B.2/Road-9.—Whereas, the Governor of Maharashtra through

Secretary, Public Works Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai and M/s. IVRCL Chandarpur

Tollways Ltd., having its registered office at “Mihir 8-2-350/5/A/24/1-B & 2, Road No.2,

Panchavati Colony, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad 500 034, Andhra Pradesh” have entered into

Concession Agreement, on the 1st December 2010, including all the subsequent agreements

entered between them, for construction, operation and maintenance of four lanning of Karanji-

Wani-Ghuggus-Chandrapur Road (MSH-6 and 7) in kilometers 0/000 to 81/392 and Dhanora

Phata to Dhanora (MDR-13) in length 3.720 kilometers, total length 85.112 kilometers

(hereinafter referred to as “the said road”), constructed under the Design, Built, Finance, Operate

and Transfer (DBFOT) Scheme by M/s. IVRCL Chandarpur Tollways Ltd.;

And whereas, as per the said agreement, the concession period of 30 years has been granted

to the concessionaire to construct, operate and maintain the said road from the date of

commencement of the work. i.e., on the 26th September 2011, which includes the period of

construction of 2 years;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra is of the opinion that the construction,

operation and maintenance of the said road is special service to the public and, therefore, after

completion of the said work, considers it expedient to levy and collect the toll on the said road at

the toll collection centres constructed at kilometer 1/200 (Kathoda), at kilometer 38/600 (Wani)

and at kilometer 70/100 (Dhanora Phata);

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra has, vide Government Notification, Public

Works Department, No. PSP.2009/CR-15/Part 2/ Road-9, dated the 30th November 2016, issued

in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1-A), (1-B), (1-C), (1-D) and (1-E) of section 20

of the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act (LXV of 1958), levied and collected the toll on the

classes of motor vehicles specified in column (2) of the Schedule appended thereto and on the

tailors drawn by such motor vehicles, passing over the said road, at the rates specified against

each of the said vehicle in column (3) of the said Schedule, with effect from the 1st December 2016

to the 30th November 2017 at the toll collection centres constructed at kilometer 1/200 (Kathoda),

at kilometer 38/600 (Wani) and at kilometer 70/100 (Dhanora Phata), on the said road;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to extend the said

period upto the 31st December 2021.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1-A), (1-B), (1-C), (1-D)

and (1-E) of section 20 of the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act (LXV of 1958), the

Government of Maharashtra hereby declares that the toll shall be levied on the classes of motor

vehicles specified in column (2) of the Schedule appended hereto and on the tailors drawn by such

motor vehicles, passing over the said road constructed under the “Design, Built, Finance, Operate

and Transfer (DBFOT) Scheme” by M/s. IVRCL Chandarpur Tollways Ltd., at their expenses, at

the toll collection centres, constructed at kilometer 1/200 (Kathoda), at kilometer 38/600 (Wani)

and at kilometer 70/100 (Dhanora Phata), on the said road, for the period commencing from the

1st December 2018 and ending on the 31st December 2021.

For the purpose of this notification, M/s. IVRCL Chandarpur Tollways Ltd. is authorized

to collect and retain the amount of toll at the toll collection centres constructed at

kilometer 1/200 (Kathoda), at kilometer 38/600 (Wani) and at kilometer 70/100 (Dhanora

Phata) on above-mentioned road.

2.

The following types of vehicles are exempted from payment of toll, namely:—

(i)

VVIP vehicles carrying President of India, Vice-President of India, Governor of

State, Public Representatives entitled for red lamp on their vehicles.

(ii)

Vehicles carrying sitting Members of Parliament, Maharashtra Legislative

Assembly and Maharashtra Legislative Council.

(vii)

Defence vehicles.

(viii)

Police Department Vehicles.

(ix)

Post and Telegraph Department Vehicles.

Ambulances.

Hearses.

Fire Fighting Vehicles.

The above-mentioned rates shall be displayed on boards clearly visible to the people in the

vicinity of the toll collection centre. A computerised toll receipt shall be passed on each and

every occasion of recovery of toll.

Electronic Display Board shall be installed in vicinity of toll collection centre.

Notes.— Concessions in rates of toll are as given below, namely :—

(i) 10 per cent. rebate will be given to the purchaser of booklet containing 50

coupons in advance.

(ii) 20 per cent. rebate will be given to the purchaser of a booklet containing 100

coupons in advance.

(iii) For frequently travelling vehicles, return and daily pass will be 1.5 times and

2.5 times of their respective one way travel rates. Return journey pass and

daily pass will be valid upto 12-00 hours at midnight for the day of issuing the

pass.

(iv) Rate of monthly pass will be 50 times of their respective one way travel rates.
