MUMBAI PORT TRUST

No. GAD/P/GEE-Estate Officer/7148.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public

Premises (Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), the Central Government has

approved the appointment of Shri K. Uthayakumar, Sr. Dy. Traffic Manager, Mumbai Port Trust as Estate

Officer for the purpose of the said Act by Notification No. A-12011/2/2019-PE-II, dated 3rd December

2019 and the approval notified in the Gazette under G.S.R. No. 892(E), dated 3rd December 2019.

The said Notification having been published in the Gazette of India on 3rd December 2019 has

come into force from that day and is republished for information.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Public Premises

(Eviction of Unauthorized Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971), the Central Government hereby appoints

the officer mentioned in column (1) of the Table below, being officer of the Mumbai Port Trust holding Class

I post of this statutory organization which is equivalent to the rank of Gazetted Officer of Government of

India, to be Estate Officer for the purposes of the said Act, who will exercise the powers conferred and

perform the duties imposed on Estate Officers by or under the said Act, in respect of the premises specified

in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table :—
