Limited (hereinafter referred to “MADC”) is a Company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956

and functions under the superintendence and control of the Government of Maharashtra ;

and whereas, Government of Maharashtra in Urban Development Department has in exercise of

its power conferred under sub-section (1-B) of Section 40 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town

Planning Act, 1966 (Mah. XXXVII of 1966) (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), appointed MADC

to be the Special Planning Authority for the notified area of Shirdi Airport area; admeasuring 350.85

read with Corrigendum, dated 11th January 2019 ;

and whereas, MADC, had in accordance with sub-section (2) of Section 115 as substituted by

Clause (d) of sub-section (3) of Section 40 of the said Act carried out survey of the aforesaid notified

area and prepared the existing land use map and accordingly prepared the Draft Proposal for the

development of land within its jurisdiction ;

and whereas, MADC has submitted the Draft Planning Proposals and Development Control

Regulations to the Government and accordingly, Government has approved Planning Proposals and

Development Control Regulations for an area of about 298.31 hectares out of total area of 350.85

hectares of Shirdi Airport Notified area vide GR No. DTP/CR-440/TPV-4/2019/3916, dated 3rd August

2019 ;

and whereas, MADC, had in accordance with sub-section (2) of Section 115 as substituted by

Clause (d) of sub-section (3) of Section 40 of the said Act, prepared Draft Planning Proposal of the

remaining area of 52.54 hectares of Shirdi Airport Notified area, Shirdi (hereinafter referred to as “the

said area”) keeping the previously approved Development Control Regulations unchanged ;

and whereas, the Board of Directors of MADC, in it’s 71st Board Meeting held on 25th February

2020 has given the approval for publishing the Draft Planning Proposal of remaining area of 52.54

hectares out of total area of 350.85 hectares of Shirdi Airport Notified area in accordance with

sub-section (2) of Section 115 as substituted by Çlause (d) of sub-section (3) of Section 40 of the said

Act and submitting it to the Government after following the due process under the said Act.

Now therefore, as required by sub-section (2) of Section 115 as substituted by Clause (d) of

sub-section (3) of Section 40 of the said Act, the Draft Planning Proposal for the said area, is hereby

published, for information and inviting suggestions and objections thereto from the public within a period

of 30 days from the date of publication of this Notice in the Maharashtra Government Gazette. The

suggestions and objections, if any, will be sent in writing and addressed to Vice Chairman and Managing

Director, MADC Ltd., on the above address, so as to reach within stipulated period. The suggestions/

objections received during stipulated period will be duly processed in accordance with the law embodied

in sub-section (3) of Section 115 as substituted by clause (d) of sub-section (3) of Section 40 of the

said Act, before submitting the proposal to the Director of Town Planning, Maharashtra State, Pune for

approval.

A Copy of above Draft Planning Proposals is kept open for inspection of the public at following

offices.
