MAHARASHTRA CONTROL OF ORGANIZED CRIME ACT, 1999.

No. SPC-1320/C.R.36/D-IX.—Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra vide notification

referred above at Sr. No. 1, with the concurrence of the Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, has

empowered Special Court presided over by Shri P. R. Sitre, Judge, City Civil Court and Additional

Sessions Judge, Mumbai to try the Special Case No. 18/2018 under MCOCA Act.

And whereas, Hon’ble Chief Justice of Bombay High Court has recommended to appoint

Shri A. T. Wankhede, Seniormost MCOC Special Judge and 2nd Additional Principal Judge,

Mumbai to try the Special Case No. 18/2018 under MCOC Act in place of Shri P. R. Sitre ;

Now therefore, In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-section

(3) of section 5 of the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act, 1999 (Mah. XXX of 1999)

(MCOCA for short), the Government of Maharashtra with the concurrence of the Chief Justice of

Bombay High Court, hereby empowers Special Court presided over by Shri. A. T. Wankhede,

MCOC Special Judge and 2nd Additional Principal Judge (in place of Shri P. R. Sitre) to try the

Special Case No. 18/2018 under MCOC Act.
