NOTIFICATION

Notice of the election to the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council

No. MSPC / 03/2022, dt. 18/01/2022.—NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of

rule 7 of the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council Rules, 1969, that,—

(1) An election is to be held of (Six) members of the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council

elected by the registered Pharmacists from amongst themselves ;

(2) Nomination of registered pharmacists eligible to fill the (Six) seats are invited ;

(3) Forms of nomination paper may be obtained from the Registrar on application ;

(4) Nomination papers may be sent so as to reach the undersigned on or before 18-15

hours on the 18th February 2022 at the office of the Registrar, Maharashtra State Pharmacy

Council, 4th Floor, R. Square, Opp. E.S.I.S. Hospital Compound, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg,

Mulund (West), Mumbai 400 080 ;

(5) Nomination papers will be taken up for scrutiny at 11-00 hours on the 21st February

2022 at the office of the Registrar , Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council, 4th Floor, R Square,

Opp. E.S.I.S. Hospital Compound, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Mulund (West), Mumbai 400 080 ;

(6) In the event of the election being contested,—

(a) The voting papers may be sent by the electors so as to reach the Returning Officer

on or before 18-15 hours on the 17th June 2022 at the office of the Registrar,

Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council, 4th Floor, R Square, Opp. E.S.I.S. Hospital

Compound, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg, Mulund (West), Mumbai 400 080 ;

(b) The votes will be taken up for scrutiny and counting at 10-00 hours on the

25th June 2022 at the office of the Registrar , Maharashtra State Pharmacy

Council, 4th Floor, R Square, Opp. E.S.I.S. Hospital Compound, Lal Bahadur

Shastri Marg, Mulund (West), Mumbai 400 080 ;

Note.— (1) Any candidate may withdraw his candidature before 18-15 hrs. of 24th February 2022 by notice in writing

signed by him and delivered the Returning Officer.

(2) The names of the contesting candidates will be entered in voting papers in Form 4 in alphabetical order

according to the Devnagari Script. For this purpose, first alphabet of the name as written in the nomination

paper will be taken into consideration.
