Notice under Section 61 (1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966

ÛÎú´ÖÖÓÛú ´Ö.†Ö./¿Ö.†.•ÖÖ./•Ö./17512/2022.––Whereas, the Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune in accordance

with the provisions of Section 60 (1) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act 1966,

(Maharashtra Act No. XXXVII of 1966) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act") declared it's intention

to prepare the Draft Town Planning Scheme Urali Devachi No. 6 and Draft Town Planning Scheme

Fursungi Nos. 9 and 10 vide it's General Body resolution No. 1161, dated 1st March 2019 and

published a declaration to that effect in the Maharashtra Government Gazette Pune Division

Supplement Part One dated at pages 1 to 3 and in the daily newspaper Dainik Pudhari and The

Indian Express dated 9th March 2019 ;

and whereas in accordance with the provisions of Section 61 (1) of the said Act the Pune

Municipal Corporation has to prepare and publish the said Scheme within a period of nine months

from the date of declaration of intention to prepare the Scheme, i.e. on or before 30th November

2019 ;

and whereas in accordance with the provisions of Section 61 (3) of the said Act, the Joint

Director of Town Planning, Pune Division, Pune, in exercise of the powers delegated to him under

Government Notification in Urban Development Department No. TPS-1813/3211/CR-508/UD-13, dated

1st December 2016, has further extended time period by vide his Order No. (1) D.T.P.S. No. 6, Uruli

Devachi, D.T.P.S. No. 9, Fursungi, D.T.P.S. No. 10, Fursungi/Extn/Section 61/JDTP/278, dated,

6th February 2020 and Order No. (2) Vi. Yo. Pune/Narayo/mudatwad/sahsampuvi/1216, dated,

25th September 2020 ; until Covid-19 epidemic ends or until further orders, for preparing the said

Scheme and publishing a notice regarding its preparation ;

and whereas the Pune Municipal Corporation has now prepared the Draft Town Planning

Scheme No. 6, Urali Devachi and Draft Town Planning Scheme No. 9, Fursungi (hereinafter referred

to as "the said Draft Schemes") in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and rules framed

there under.

Now, therefore, under the provisions of Section 61 (1) of the said Act, the Pune Municipal

Corporation General Body vide its Resolution No. 1003, dated 10th March 2022 has given the

sanction to publish the said Draft Schemes ;

A copy of the said Draft Schemes and plans thereof are kept open for inspection by the public

during office hours on all working days at Town Planning Scheme Cell, Room No. 306, third floor,

Pune Municipal Corporation, Shivajinagar, Pune-411 005. A copy of the Plan and Scheme book of

the said schemes or part thereof can be obtained from website-www.pmc.gov.in ;

In accordance with the provisions of Section 67 of the said Act, if within thirty days from the

date of publication of this Notice in the Maharashtra Government Gazette, any person affected by

the Draft Town Planning Scheme No. 6 Urali Devachi and Draft Town Planning Scheme No. 9,

Fursungi communicates in writing (in duplicate) any objections relating to the said schemes to the

City Engineer, Pune Municipal Corporation shall consider the same and modify the said Draft

Schemes as it thinks fit, before submitting the said Draft Schemes under Section 68 (1) of the said

act, to the Government for sanction.
