NOTIFICATION

No./SB/ATB/588/2022.—Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred

by section (1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (37 of 1967), has declared the

Popular Front of India (PFI), and its associates or affiliates or fronts, including Rehab India

Foundation (RIF) Campus Front of India (CFI), All India Imams Council (AIIC), National

Confederation of Human Rights Organization (NCHRO), National Women's Front, Junior Front,

Empower India Foundation and Rehab Foundation, Kerala as unlawful association vide notification

number S. O. No. 4559(E), dated 27th September 2022 ;

And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the said Act. The Central

Government has directed vide Notification No. 14017/4/2022-NI-MFO, dated 28th September 2022

that all the States and Union Territory Administrations shall exercise the powers exercisable by

the Central Government under sections 8 of the said Act ;

And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42 of the said Act, The State

Government with the approval of the Central Government, vide Order No. TER-0922/CR

No. 196/SPL-1B, dated 28th September 2022 directed that aforesaid delegated powers shall be

exercisable by The Commissioners of Police and The District Magistrates under the State of

Maharashtra in relation to the said unlawful association.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers under Section 8 of the said Act, as delegated by the

State Government, the following property which is used or intended to be used for the purpose of

the above said unlawful association, is hereby notified :—

(1) Rashid's Gala No. 1838, Opp. Soharab Sheth's Factory, Bahujan Chawl, Tulsi Nagar,

Khadipar, Bhiwandi, Tal. Bhiwandi, Dist. Thane.
