NOTIFICATION
No. Rule/P. 0703/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Articles 227 and 235 of the
Constitution of India, the Honourable the Chief Justice and Judges of Bombay High Court are hereby
pleased to direct that the following amendment be made in the Civil Manual, 1986 :—
Add the following Sub-Para below the existing Para 675 of Chapter XXXV of the Civil
Manual, 1986 :—
675 (A) :—When e-authenticated copies of orders and processes are
communicated by the Supreme Court of India and High Court of Bombay through
the FASTER (Fast and Secured Transmission of Electronic Records) system, the
receiving Court should ensure compliance with the same, without insisting upon
production of a hard copy.

No. Rule/P. 805/2022.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Articles 227 and 235 of the
Constitution of India, the Honourable the Chief Justice and Judges of Bombay High Court are hereby
pleased to direct that the following amendment be made in the Criminal Manual, 1980 :—
Add new Chapter XXXII-A in the Criminal Manual, 1980 :—
CHAPTER XXXII-A
E-Judgments, Orders, Processes and Systems
(1) For all the purposes in the Criminal Manual, e-authenticated copies or
versions of all Judgments, Orders and Processes communicated by Supreme
Court of India and High Court of Bombay through the FASTER (Fast and Secured
Transmission of Electronic Records) system, be recognized and accepted by all
concerned as effective, valid, binding version of the original without insisting
for production of a hard copy.
(2) When e-authenticated copies of the bail orders and other processes are
communicated by Supreme Court of India and High Court of Bombay through
FASTER (Fast and Secured Transmission of Electronic Records) system, the
receiving Court should ensure compliance with the same, without insisting upon
production of a hard copy.
