NOTIFICATION

National Investigation Agency Act, 2008.

No. SPC. 1323/C.R. 78/D-IX.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section

22 read with sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 11 of the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008

(Act 34 of 2008) (In short ‘N.I.A. Act, 2008’), the Government of Maharashtra, with the concurrence of

the Hon’ble the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby designates

the Court presided over by Smt. M. V. Deshpande, District Judge-1 and Additional Sessions

Judge, Nagpur in place of Shri J. P. Zapate, as the Special Court for the trial of offences under

the N.I.A. Act, 2008 :—

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

No. SPC. 1322/C.R. 73/D-IX.— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Scheduled

Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (33 of 1989) (hereafter referred as

the “ said act ”) the Government of Maharashtra, with the concurrence of the Hon’ble Chief Justice

of the Bombay High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby appoints Shri S. R. Narwade, Ad-hoc

District Judge-3 and Additional Sessions Judge, Pune in place of Shri G. A. Ramteke for

the trial of cases filed under the said act.
