NOTIFICATION

National Investigation Agency Act, 2008.

No. SPC 1323/C.R. 78/D-IX.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 22 read with sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 11 of the National Investigation Agency

Act, 2008 (Act 34 of 2008) (In short ‘N.I.A. Act, 2008’), the Government of Maharashtra, with

the concurrence of the Hon’ble the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court of Judicature at

Bombay, hereby designates the Court presided over by Smt. M. V. Deshpande, District

Judge – 1 and Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur in place of Shri J. P. Zapate, as

the Special Court for the trial of offences under the N.I.A. Act, 2008.
