उक्त अधिि˜सूचनेेला कोणतााही आक्षेेप घेणााऱ्या कोणत्याही व्यक्तीने ही उद्घोषणाा महाारााष्ट्र शाासन रााजपत्रात प्रसि�द्ध
झााल्याच्या दि�नांं�कापासून ३० दि�वसााच्या कालावधीत जि�ल्हाधिि˜कारी, पालघर यांं�च्याकडे त्यां�चीी लेखी कारणेे साादर करणेे आवश्यक
असेल.

२२ फेेब्रुुवारी २०२४ द्वाारे महाारााष्ट्र शाासन रााजपत्र, असााधारण दि�नांं�क २२ फेेब्रुुवारी २०२४ अन्वये महाराष्ट्र नगरपरि�षदाा, नगरपंंचायती
व औद्योोगि�कनगरी अधिि˜नि�यम, १९६५ (१९६५ चा महा. ४०) (यात यापुढेे ज्याचा उल्लेख “उक्त अधिि˜नि�यम ” असाा करण्यात आला
आहे ) याच्या कलम ६ चे पोट-कलम (२) नुसाार व कलम ३ चे पोट-कलम (३) मधील तरतुुदींनुसाार व त्याअन्वये प्रदाान केलेल्या
अधिि˜कारानुसाार महाराष्ट्र शाासनााने उक्त अधिि˜नि�यमाच्या कलम ६ चे पोट-कलम (१) मधील खंड (क) अन्वये प्रदाान केलेल्या इतर
सर्व अधिि˜कारांं�चा वापर करून पालघर जि�ल्ह्याातील वि¦क्रमगड नगरपंंचायत क्षेेत्राामधून अनुसुची “अ” मध्ये नमूूद स्थाानि�क क्षेेत्र वगळूून
उद्घोषणाा काढण्याबाबतचाा आपलाा हेतू जाहीर केला होताा ;
आणि� ज्याअर्थी, उक्त उद्घोषणेस अनुलक्षून जि�ल्हाधिि˜कारी, पालघर यांं�च्याकडे वि¦हि�त कालावधीत प्राप्त हरकती व सूचनांं�चाा
शाासनााने वि¦चार केला आहे ;
आणि� ज्याअर्थी, भाारतााचे संवि¦धान अनुच्छेेद २४३-थ च्या खंड (२) मध्ये नमूूद केलेल्या बाबी वि¦चारात घेऊन महाराष्ट्र शाासनााला,
यासोबत जोडलेल्या अनुसूची “अ” मध्ये नमूूद स्थाानि�क क्षेेत्र वगळूून वि¦क्रमगड नगरपंंचायतीच्या सीमांं�मध्ये फेेरफाार करणेे इष्ट वाटते.
त्याअर्थी, आताा उक्त अधिि˜नि�यमाचे कलम ६ चे पोट- कलम (१) मधील खंड (क) अन्वये प्रदाान केलेल्या इतर सर्व अधिि˜कारांं�चा
वापर करुन, महाराष्ट्र शाासन, याद्वाारे महाराष्ट्र नगरपरि�षदाा, नगरपंंचायती व औद्योोगि�कनगरी अधिि˜नि�यम, १९६५ चे कलम ६ चे पोट-कलम
(१) मधील खंड (क) मध्ये अनुसूची “अ” मध्ये स्थाानि�क क्षेेत्र वगळूून पालघर जि�ल्ह्याातील वि¦क्रमगड नगरपंंचायतीच्या सीमांं�मध्ये
फेेरफाार करीत आहे. वि¦क्रमगड नगरपंंचायतीच्या सुधारि�त सीमा अनुसूची “ब” मध्ये वि¦नि�र्दि�िष्ट केल्याप्रमाणे असतीील.

PROCALAMATION
Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965.
No. MUP-2018/C.R.04/UD-19.—In pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 6
read with sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats
and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (Mah. XL of 1965) (hereinafter referred to as “ the said act”),
the Government of Maharashtra hereby announces its intension to issue a notification in exercise of
the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub- section (1) of section 6 of the said Act. with a view to alter
the limits of the municipal area of the Vikramgad Nagar Panchayat in Palghar District, so
as to exclude therefrom the local area specified in the Schedule “A”, the draft of which is appended
herewith.
2. Any person who entertains any objection to the said notification is hereby required to submit
the same in writing, with the reasons therefor, to the Collector, District Palghar within a period of
thirty days, from the date of publication of this Proclamation in the Maharashtra Government Gazette.
3. Any such objection which may be received during the said period will be considered by the
Government.

DRAFT NOTIFICATION
Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965.
No.MUP-2018/C.R.04/UD-19.—Whereas, by the Government Proclamation, Urban Development
Department, No.MUP-2018/C.R.04/UD-19, dated the 22nd February 2024 published in the
Maharashtra Government Gazette, Part-1-A Extraordinary Division Supplement, dated the 22nd
February 2024, the Government of Maharashtra had announced its intention to issue notification,
in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 6 of the Maharashtra
Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (Mah.XL of 1965), with
a view to alter the limits of the municipal area of Vikramgad Nagar panchayat in Palghar District
by excluding therefrom the area specified in the Schedule “A” in the said Proclamation ;
And whereas, the Government has considered the objections and suggestions received by the
Collector, District Palghar pursuant to the said Proclamation received within the period specified
therein ;
And whereas, having regard to the factors mentioned in clause (2) of article 243-Q of the
Constitution of India, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to alter the limits of
municipal area of Vikramgad Nagar Panchayat in Palghar District, so as to exclude therefrom the
local areas specified in the Schedule “A” appended hereto.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 6 of
the Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats and Industrial Townships Act, 1965 (Mah.XL
of 1965), and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby,
alters the limits of the municipal area of Vikramgad Nagar panchayat in Palghar District, so
as to exclude therefrom the local areas specified in the Schedule “A” appended hereto and declares
that the revised boundaries of the Vikramgad Nagar Panchayat shall be such as specified in the
Schedule “B” hereto.
