of the People Act, 1951 and section 30 and 56 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of

1951) the followings are published for general information :—

NOTIFICATION

No. GEN-2024/C.R. 48/24/33/Election (1).—WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of

clause (1) of Article 172 of the Constitution of India, the existing Legislative Assembly of the State

of Maharashtra, unless sooner dissolved, shall continue upto and including the 26th November, 2024

and shall, thereafter, stand dissolved on expiration of its duration ; and

WHEREAS, in terms of sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Representation of the People Act,

1951 (43 of 1951), a general election has to be held for the purpose of constituting a new Legislative

Assembly of the State.

NOW, THEREFORE, as recommended by the Election Commission of India in pursuance of

sub-section (2) of the Section 15 of the said Act, the Governor of the State of Maharashtra, is hereby

pleased to call upon all Assembly Constituencies in the State, to elect members to the Legislative

Assembly of the State, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders

made thereunder.

NOTIFICATION

No. 464/MH-LA/2024.—WHEREAS, the Governor of the State of Maharashtra has, by notification

issued under sub-section (2) of Section 15 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951)

and published in the Official Gazette of the State on the 22nd October, 2024, been pleased to call

upon all Assembly Constituencies in the State, to elect members to the Legislative Assembly of the

State, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the rules and orders made thereunder.

NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of Sections 30 and 56 of the said Act, the Election

Commission of India hereby—

(A) appoints, with respect to the said election in each of the constituencies,—

(a) the 29th October, 2024 (Tuesday), as the last date for making nominations ;

(b) the 30th October, 2024 (Wednesday), as the date for scrutiny of nominations ;

(d) the 20th November 2024 (Wednesday), as the date on which a poll shall, if

necessary, be taken ; and

(e) the 25th November 2024 (Monday), as the date before which the election shall be

completed ; and

(B) Fixes the hours from 7-00 a.m. to 6-00 p.m., as the hours during which the poll shall, if

necessary, be taken on the date specified above for the election in all the Assembly Constituencies

except 63-Arjuni Morgaon (SC), 66-Amgaon (ST), 67-Armori (ST), 68-Gadchiroli (ST) and 69-Aheri

(ST) Assembly Constituencies and Polling Station 1-Manibeli, 7-Chimalkhedi, 10-Bamani,

12-Danel and 13-Mukhadi of 1-Akkalkuwa (ST) Assembly Constituency where it shall be from

7-00 a.m. to 3-00 p.m.

सं. 464/महाा.-वि�.स./2024.— यतः, महााराष्ट्र राज्य के राज्यपााल, लोक प्रति�नि™धिि˜त्व अधिि˜नि™यम, 1951 (1951 का 43 ) की

धारा 15 की उप-धारा (2) के अधीन जाारी और 22 अक्तूबर, 2024 को राज्य के शासकीय राजपत्र में प्रकाशि�त अधिि˜सूचनाा के द्वाारा

इस राज्य के सभी वि�धाान सभाा नि™र्वााɑचन क्षेेत्रोंं से यह अपेक्षा करते हैं कि� वेे उक्त अधिि˜नि™यम और उसके अधीन बनाए गए नि™यमों और

आदेशों के उपबन्धों के अनुसार राज्य की वि�धाान सभाा के लि�ए सदस्य नि™र्वााɑचि�त कर दें, और

अतः, अब, उक्त अधिि˜नि™यम की धाराओं 30 और 56 के अनुसरण में, भाारत नि™र्वााɑचन आयोग एतद्द््वावाारा :–
