Holidays, Summer and Christmas Vacation for the Year-2025, as declared by the respective District

During the Summer and Christmas Vactions the Offices of the Industrial Courts in the State

of Maharashtra shall remain open from 10:30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on working day, but no work except

of an urgent nature will be admitted after 3.00 p.m.

The Judges of the Labour Courts in the State of Maharashtra and Commissioners for

Employee’s Compensation, Mumbai may avail two weeks concessional off during the vacations.

The Industrial Courts and Labour Courts in the State of Maharashtra and Office of the

Commissioner for Employee’s Compensation, Mumbai and Wage Boards, Mumbai, shall work on

every Saturday except 2nd and 4th Saturday in every month in addition to other working days.

The list of holidays and vacations is likely to be modified as per the directions to be issued in

near future by the Hon’ble the Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. 1022/89 (All India

Judges’ Association Vs. Union of India and Others).
