States Reorganisation Act, 1956.
No. WZC- 3824/C.R.161/JAPUK (29).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b), of
sub-section (1) of section 16 of the State Reorganisation Act, 1956 (37 of 1956) and in supersession
of orders issued by Government Notification, General Administration Department, No. GAD-
49038/3/2023-GAD(Desk-29), dated the 24th August, 2023, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby
pleased to nominate the following members from the Council of Ministers of the State, as the member
of Zonal Council for Western Zone comprising of the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Union
Territories of Daman and Diu, Dadara and Nagar Haveli :—

Shri Eknath Gangubai Sambhaji Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister,

3816/609/C.R.290/XXIX, dated the 27th June, 2018, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased
to nominate Additional Chief Secretary (Planning) and Development Commissioner, Planning
Department, Government of Maharashtra, to be the Second Advisor to the Zonal Council for Western
Zone comprising of the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Union Territories of Daman and
Diu, Dadara and Nagar Haveli.
