In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Hon’ble

the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Bombay is pleased to direct that the following

amendments shall be made to Rule 3 (a) Sr. No. 12A (of Group ‘D’), Rule 42A and Schedule-I

(Pay-Scale) and Schedule-II (Strength of staff) of the Bombay High Court Original Side Service

Rules, 2002 :

Insert the new Sub-Rule at Sr. No. 42-A as under :—

Cook-cum-Peon

Appointment shall be made from amongst the candidates;

(i)  who have passed at least VIIth Standard Examination

and;

(ii)  who have adequate knowledge of and experience in

cooking.

Preference will be given to a candidate holding a Certificate

in Cooking Course of a recognised Institute.
