आणिि” ज्याअर्थीी, महााराष्ट्र शाासनााची अशी खात्री झाली आहे की, उक्त विि¦त्तीीय संस्थाा आणिि” सदर संस्थेेचे प्रवर्तक, भाागीदाार,

संचाालक, व्यवस्थाापक, कर्ममचाारी आणिि” सदस्य हे ठेेवीदाारां�नीी मागणी केल्यानुसार ठेेवी परत करण्यात अपयशी ठरले असून उक्त विि¦त्तीीय

संस्थााद्वाारे ठेेवीदाारां�नाा ठेेवी परत करण्याची शक्यताा दि�सूून येत नााही ;

आणिि” ज्याअर्थीी, महााराष्ट्र शाासनााला, उक्त विि¦त्तीीय संस्थाा आणिि” संस्थेेचे प्रवर्तक, भाागीदाार, संचाालक, व्यवस्थाापक, कर्ममचाारी

अन्य मालमत्ता जप्त करण्याचे आणिि” अशाा जप्त रक्कम व अन्य मालमत्ता यावर नि�यंंत्रण ठेेवण्याकरि�ताा सक्षम प्राधि�काारी-८, झोपडप

पुनर्ववसन प्राधि�करण, मुं�बई यां�चीी सक्षम प्राधि�काारी म्हणूून नि�युुक्ती करणे आवश्यक वाटते.

Order

Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1999.

No. MPID-0724/C.R.No.70/Pol-15.– Whereas, M/s. Chrome Business and Trade India Pvt. Ltd.,

Mumbai (hereinafter referred to as “the said Financial Establishment”) and its Chairman, Directors,

Manager, Promoters, Partners and Employee has received deposits from depositors under the

scheme to repay the deposits on maturity alongwith benefits promised thereof to the depositors;

And whereas, an offence has been registered against the said Financial Establishment and

its Chairman, Promoters, Partners, Directors, Managers and Members at Mulund Police Station,

Mumbai, vide Complaint Register No. 97/2022 (Eow C.R.N. 108/2022), under sections 420, 406, 409

and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860) and sections 3 and 4 of Maharashtra Protection of

Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1999 (Mah. XVI of 2000), that they have

collected the deposits and have failed to repay the deposits after maturity;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra is satisfied that the said Financial Establishment

and its Chairman, Promoters, Directors, Manager, Partners, Employee and Members have failed to

repay the deposits on demand by the depositors and the said Financial Establishment are not likely

to return the deposits to the depositors;

And whereas, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient to attach the monies or

other properties believed to have been acquired by the said Financial Establishment and its Chairman,

Promoters, Directors, Managers, Partners, and Members or any other person either in their own

name or in the name of any other person or Establishment from out of the deposits collected by the

said Financial Establishments, in order to protect the interest of the depositors of the said Financial

Establishment and to appoint Competent Authority-8, Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Mumbai as

the Competent Authority to exercise control over the monies and other properties attached.

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section

(1) of section 5 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1999 (Mah. XVI of 2000), the Government of Maharashtra hereby,–

(a) attaches the monies and other properties in the name of the M/s. Chrome Business and

Trade India Pvt. Ltd. and its Chairman, Promoters, Directors, Managers, Partners, Employee

and Members or any other person, as specified in the Schedule appended hereto; and

(b) appoints the Competent Authority-8, Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Mumbai to be the

Competent Authority, to exercise control over the monies and other properties attached.
