Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23 of General Clauses Act 1897, read with the applicable
provisions of Securities Contract (Regulations) Rules 1957, the proposed amendments to the
Memorandum of Association of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited as given hereunder are
published for objections/suggestion/criticism, if any, from persons likely to be affected, in the Gazette
of India. Any person having any objection/suggestion/criticism on the proposed amendments to
Memorandum of Association can send the same in writing to the attention of the Secretarial
Department at Exchange Square, Suren Road, Chakala, Andheri (East), Mumbai 400093, India or
at [email protected] within fifteen days from the date of this publication in the Gazette of India.
The objection/suggestion/criticism received after the aforementioned date will not be considered when
the proposed amendments will be taken for consideration.
Proposed amendments to Memorandum of Association:
The Clause V of Memorandum of Association of MCX shall be amended by substituting with
the following revised clause:
“The Authorised Share Capital of the Company is Rs. 700,000,000 (Rupees Seventy Crores)
divided into 350,000,000 (Thirty-Five Crores) equity shares of Rs. 2/- (Rupees two) each with the
power to increase and / or reduce the capital, to divide the shares in the capital for the time being
into several classes and to attach thereto such preferential, deferred, qualified or special rights,
privileges or conditions in such manner as may be determined by or in accordance with the regulations
of the Company and to vary, modify or abrogate any such rights, privileges or conditions in such
manner as may be permitted by the Act or by the regulations of the Company and consolidate or
subdivide the shares and issue shares of higher or lower denominations.”

Whereas, the Slum Re habilitation Authority has formed Slum Rehabilitation Scheme under the
provision of Section 3B (3) of Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment)
Act, 1971 and published in Gazette on 9th April 1998 ;
Whereas, in view of the provision of section 3C (1) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement,
Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971, the Chief Executive Officer, Slum Rehabilitation Authority,
is empowered to declare any area as “Slum Rehabilitation Area”.
Therefore, in view of the said provision of Section 3C (1) of the Maharashtra Slum Areas
(Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971. I, undersigned hereby declare the area
shown in schedule as “Slum Rehabilitation Area”. Now the said area is open to submit scheme of
slum rehabilitation as per regulation 33(10) of Development Control and Promotion Regulation, 2034
of Greater Mumbai.

च्या अन्वयेे मंंजूर केला. प्रशाासक (महाानगरपालि�काा) यांं�नी सदर ठरााव मंंजूर / पारि�त करते वेळी, पी / दक्षि�णण वि�भाागाच्या मंंजूर वि�काास
आराखडाा २०३४ मध्ये सोबतच्या नकाशा क्र. प्र. अभि�./ वि�नि�. / १४०९० / प. उ. दि�. २२.०९.२०२५ मध्ये दर्शशवि�ल्यानुसार खाालील
प्रमााणेे बदल
प्रस्तावि�त आहे:

आणि� सदर बदलाामुळे मोकळेे झालेले अंदाजे : १४५ चौ.मी. क्षेेत्र लगतच्या RR 2.1 (पुुनर्वसन आणि� पुुनर्स्था�ा�पनाा) ह्याा आरक्षणाामध्ये

३७ (१) नुसार कोणणत्याही व्यक्तीकडूून हरकतीी / सूचनाा माागवि�ण्यासाठीी तसेच संंभााव्य बाधि�त होणााऱ्या व्यक्तींच्या मााहि�तीसाठीी

Authority for the area within its jurisdiction (hereinafter referred to as "the said Corporation") as
per the provision of Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 (hereinafter referred to as
MR & TP Act, 1966).
Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of Section 31 of the said Act, the
State Government vide Notification No. TPB-4317/629/CR-118/2017/DP/UD-11, Dt. 08/05/2018
(hereinafter referred to as "the said Notification") has accorded sanction to the Draft Development
Plan-2034 of Greater Mumbai (hereinafter referred to as "the said Development Plan") along with
the Development Control and Promotion Regulations-2034 (hereinafter referred to as "the said
Regulations") for Greater Mumbai with modifications shown in SCHEDULE-A appended to the said
Notification excluding the substantial modifications as shown in SCHEDULE-B appended to the
said Notification; And whereas, Government has issued corrigendum of even number dt. 22nd June,
2018; and whereas, thereafter Government has issued a corrigendum and Addendum of even number
dt. 29th June, 2018 to the said Notification, which is published in Government Gazette dt. 30th June,
2018; and whereas, the said Regulations have come into force from 1/09/2018;
And whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) and (2) of Section 37 of the
MR & TP Act, 1966, the Planning Authority may, or when so directed by the State Government shall
within Ninety days from date of such directions publish a notice inviting objections and suggestions
from any person, as mentioned therein and after giving hearing, submit the proposed modification
to the State Government and the State Government subject to such condition as it may deem fit
sanction the modification or refuse to accord sanction;
And whereas, as per circular u/no. BMC/ADMN/3 dt. 07.04.2022, under section 6C (1) of Mumbai
Municipal Corporation Act, 1888 (hereinafter referred as ‘MMC Act, 1888’) all the powers of the
Corporation are now vested with the Administrator;
And whereas, Under secretary, GoM vide their letter dtd: 07.05.2025, has informed that “वि�षयांं�कि�त
भूखंडास ९.१५ मी . रुंद रस्त्याने पोहोच रस्ता दर्शा�वि�णेेकरि�ता लगत असलेेल्या न.भू.क्र. २३२ - ब व २३२-क (दक्षि�णण सीमेलगत ) या
भूखंडातून ९.१५ मी . रुंद वि�काास योोजना रस्ता प्रस्तावि�त करण्याबाबत बृृहन्मुंं�बई महाानगरपालि�कााने त्यांं�चेे स्तरावर पडतााळणीी करून
मंंजूर वि�काास योोजना - २०३४ मध्ये फेेरबदल
करण्यासाठीी महााराष्ट्र प्राादेशि�क व नगर रचनाा अधि�नि�यमाातील कलम
३७ (१) अन्वयेे
फेेरबदलााची कार्ययवााही अनुसरून वैधाानि�क कार्ययवााही करून परि�पूूर्णण फेेरबदलााचा प्रस्ताव शासनाास सादर केल्यास शासनस्तरावर त्यावर
नि�र्णणय घेता येईल असे महाापालि�केेस कळवि�ण्यास मलाा सूचनाा आहेत.”
And whereas, Administrator (Improvement Committee) & Administrator (Corporation) has
accorded sanction vide resolution u/no. 57 dtd. 01.10.2025 & u/no. 645 Dtd: 08.10.2025 respectively
to process the proposal and for inviting suggestions/ objections under section 37(1) of MR & TP Act
& to make correspondence with the UD Department, Govt. of Maharashtra for final sanction u/s 37
(2) of MR & TP Act regarding modification in respect of plot bearing CTS No. 232B, 232C & 242 of
Village: Pahadi Goregaon-E in P/South ward in D.P. 2034 under section 37(1) of Maharashtra Regional
and Town Planning Act, 1966 by making following proposed changes to be read along with Plan u/n:
Ch.E./D.P/14090/WS Dtd: 22.09.2025 :
1. To shifting of proposed 9.15 mtr wide DP road from Land bearing CTS No. 233 of Village:
Pahadi Goregaon-E marked a-b-c-d-a, towards north through land bearing CTS No. 232B & 232C of
Village : Pahadi Goregaon-E marked c-d-e-f-a, thereby reducing the area of reservation of RR2.1
(Rehabilitation & Resettlement) on land bearing CTS No. 232B & 232C of Village: Pahadi Goregaon-E
resulting in decrease of approximately 241 sqm in area of Reservation of RR2.1 (Rehabilitation &
Resettlement) due to said change.

2. Deleting part of proposed 6.10 mtr wide DP road affecting land bearing CTS No.232B & 232C
of Village: Pahadi Goregaon-E marked p-q-r-s-p & including the same in reservation of RR2.1
(Rehabilitation & Resettlement) resulting in increase of approximately 145 sqm in area of Reservation
of RR2.1 (Rehabilitation & Resettlement) due to said change.
And whereas, Administrator (Improvement Committee) & Administrator (Corporation) has
empowered the Municipal Commissioner of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to take further
action under section 37(1) of the Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 and also
empowered to approach UDD, GoM for seeking the final sanction of State Government u/s 37(2) of
Maharashtra Regional & Town Planning Act, 1966 for proposed modification in Sanctioned
Development Plan 2034 of 'P/South' Ward;
Now, therefore, after considering the above facts and circumstances and in exercise of the powers
conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 37 of the MR & TP Act, 1966; and of all other powers enabling
it in this behalf, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (hereinafter referred as BMC) hereby
publishes a Notice for inviting objections/ suggestions from any persons with respect to proposed
modification as required by Section 37(1) of the said Act, for information of all persons likely to be
affected thereby. BMC is further pleased to inform that any suggestions and /or objections in respect
of the proposed modification mentioned above may be forwarded, in writing before the expiry of one
month from the date of publication of this notification to:

Municipal Head Office, Mahapalika Marg, Fort, Mumbai 400 001.
Any suggestions and /or objections, which may be received within the said period will be dealt
with in accordance with the provisions of Section 37(1) of the said Act by the Chief Engineer
(Development Plan) BMC. The suggestions and /or objections received after the aforesaid period will
not be considered.
A plan in respect of proposed modification to the Sanctioned Development Plan 2034 of P/S Ward
is kept open for inspection of the general public during office hours except Saturday, Sunday and
Public holidays, at the following offices :—
