of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the following is published for General

Information. :—

No. BIE-2026/C.R.127/26/33, Election-1.—Whereas, the election has been held in pursuance of

the notification issued under section 16 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951(43 of 1951),

for the purpose of filling the six seats of the Legislative Council of the State of Maharashtra, elected

from the Ahmednagar, Thane, Yavatmal, Pune, Raigad-cum-Ratnagiri-cum-Sindhudurg and Wardha-

cum-Chandrapur-cum-Gadchiroli Local Authorities’ Constituencies whose term of office expired on

respectively, 1st January, 2022, 8th June, 2022, 5th December, 2022, 5th December, 2022, 31st May,

2024, 21st June, 2024.
