NOTIFICATION

The 6th March, 2018

S.R.O No.88/18- It has been brought to the notice of the Commission by the

Secretary of the Berhampur Cotton and Silk Weavers’ Co-operative Society

Ltd.,Chandrama Street, Berhampur Vide his Letter Dt.06.12.2017 and Letter No.478

Dt.15.02.2018 of Assistant Director of Textiles, Berhampur that Sri T Laxminarayana a

Committee Member of the Berhampur Cotton and Silk Weavers’ Co-operative Society Ltd.

has expired. It has been requested to fill up the vacancy in the office of the Committee

Member of the Society arising due to death.

Now, therefore, it is ordered that the vacancy in the office of the Committee Member

of the Berhampur Cotton and Silk Weavers’ Co-operative Society Ltd., shall be filled up in

the same manner as it was originally filled up as required under Section 28(6) of the OCS

Act, 1962.

Sri Krushna Chandra Sahu, Inspector of Textiles, office of the Assistant Director of

Textiles, Berhampur is here by appointed as the Election Officer to conduct the election of

office of the Committee Member of the Berhampur Cotton and Silk Weavers’ Co-operative

Society Ltd with a direction to take up the election programme from the stage of filing of

nomination so as to conduct the poll, if necessary, on Dt. 08.04.2018 by following due

procedure as prescribed in the OCS Act, 1962 & OCS (Elections to the Committees)

Rules, 1992 and Circulars/Guidelines issued by this Commission from time to time.
