ADDENDUM

The 13th March, 2018

Sub: Merger of Government upper Primary Schools with nearby / adjacent

Government High School.

S.R.O. No. 98/2018— After Sl. No.1 of the modalities for merger of Schools as

mentioned in School & Mass Education Department Notification No.16167 dated the 30th

August,.2017, the following is added as Sl. No.1(a);

1(a).–“In case of disputes regarding naming of the Nodal High Schools after merger, the

SMDC of the High School and SMC of the Upper Primary School will sit together and take

a decision. The name decided in the joint meeting will be sent to the Collector of the

District who will verify and propose the name for approval by the Government in School &

Mass Education Department. After approval, the Government will notify the name/names

of such School/Schools.”.

ORDER

Ordered that this Addendum shall be published in an Extraordinary issue of the

Odisha Gazette.
