NOTIFICATION
The 21st March, 2018
No. 8164–HE-FE1A-POLICY-0015/2017/H.E.— Government of India, Ministry of
H.R.D., Department of Education in its letter No. 1-7/2015-U.II (1) dated the 2nd
November, 2017 has issued the revision of UGC scales of pay for teachers and equivalent
cadres in Universities and Colleges of Central Government employees on the
recommendation of the 7th Central Pay Commission(CPC) w.e.f. 1st January,2016.
Now, therefore, the State Government have been pleased to constitute a Fitment
Committee with the following members to examine in detail on the various aspects for
implementation of the revision of UGC scales of pay for teachers and equivalent cadres in
Universities and Colleges of the State. The Committee may submit its report to the
Government about implementation of the scheme issued by MHRD, Government of India
taking into consideration various factors in the State within a period of 45 days.
