NOTIFICATION

The 26th March, 2018

S.R.O.No.115/2018— Whereas it is felt necessary to extend the tenure of the

Commission of Inquiry consisting of the District Judge, Koraput at Jeypore appointed vide

this Department Notification No.2478/C., dated the 26th December, 2017 to enquire into

the alleged incident of kidnapping, sexual assault and suicide of a minor girl of village

Musaguda under Pottangi Police Station in the District of Koraput ;

And, whereas, the inquiry is in progress and the time stipulated in the

aforementioned Notification has expired on 25th March, 2018.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 read with sub-

section(1) of Section 5 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952 (60 of 1952) the State

Government do hereby make the following amendment in the said Notification namely:—

AMENDMENT

In paragraph 4 of the said Notification, for the words “3 (three) months”, the words

“6 (six) months” shall be substituted.
