NOTIFICATION

The 29th March, 2018

No. 885/C. — In exercise of powers U/s. 5(2) of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885,

read with Indian Telegraph (Amendment) Rules, 2007 and in consonance with the

delegation made by the State Government, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department

hereby designates the Additional Director-cum-I.G. of Police, Intelligence, Odisha,

Bhubaneswar to act as Nodal Authority with respect to intelligence matters handled by

Odisha Police for legal interception of any message or class of messages relating to any

particular subject transmitted through telephones from Telephone Service Providers in the

State of Odisha.

The Director-cum-Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, Odisha,

Bhubaneswar will act as Nodal Authority for legal interception as mentioned above in

absence of Additional Director-cum-I.G. of Police, Intelligence, Odisha, Bhubaneswar from

Headquarters.

This supersedes the previous Notification No 1014/C., dated the 7th May, 2016
