Dated the 31st March, 2018

No.2995-Part-1–O.E.-256/2018 /L.A. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of

Article 187 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Odisha after consultation with the Speaker

of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the

Odisha Legislative Assembly Secretariat (Recruitment & Conditions of Service) Rules, 1983,

namely:−

Short title & Commencement.

1. (i) These Rules may be called the Odisha

Legislative

Assembly

Secretariat

(Recruitment & Conditions of Service)

Amendment Rules, 2018.

(ii) They shall come into force on the date

of their publication in the Odisha Gazette.

Amendment to Rule-8.

2. In the proviso to Rule 8 of the Odisha

Legislative

Assembly

Secretariat

(Recruitment & Conditions of Service)

Rules, 1983, the figure “63” shall be

substituted by the figure “64”.
