NOTIFICATION

No. 12684–RDM-LRB-STATUT-0002/2017/R&DM.— The following draft of certain

rules further to amend the Odisha Land Reforms (General) Rules, 1965, which the State

Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

Section 75 of the Odisha Land Reforms Act, 1960 (Odisha Act 16 of 1960) is hereby

published as required under the said sub-section for the information of all persons likely to

be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into

consideration on or after the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date of publication

of this notification in the Odisha Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received from any person with respect to

the said draft before expiry of the period so specified will be considered by the State

Government.

DRAFT

1. Short title and commencement.:— (1) These rules may be called the Odisha

Land Reforms (General) Amendment Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the

Odisha Gazette.

(3) In the Odisha Land Reforms (General) Rules, 1965 in rule 12-A, in sub-rule

(1) for the figure and words “30 days” the words “fifteen days” shall be substituted.
