S.R.O. No.236/2018— In pursuance of Housing &Urban Development Department

Notification No.15032-HUD-DIR-POLICY-03/2017/HUD., dated the 4th July, 2017

published in the Extraordinary issue No.1168, dated the 4th July, 2017 of the Odisha

Gazette, Government have been pleased to vest the powers with the Collectors & District

Magistrates of the Districts as authorities to accept the joining report of the Executive

Officer and to relieve the concerned Officer as per order made by the H &UD Department

for smooth governance of the Urban Local Bodies.

Further, the Collectors and District Magistrates of the Districts are declared as

authorities to allow the officer kept in-charge of Executive Officer of the Municipalities /

NACs under their administrative control for exercising financial power as per rule-2 (ix-a)

of OGFR ,Volume- 1.
