S.R.O. No.373/2018–— In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16 of the

Odisha Land Rights to Slum Dwellers Act, 2017 (Odisha Act 10 of 2017), the State

Government do hereby make the following rules to amend the Odisha Land Rights to Slum

Dwellers Rules, 2017, namely :—

1. Short title and Commencement:— (1) These rules may be called the Odisha

Land Rights to Slum Dwellers (Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the

Odisha Gazette.

2. In the Odisha Land Rights to Slum Dwellers Rules, 2017, for Form-I, the following

Form shall be substituted, namely :—

a) As per the provisions of sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the Odisha Land Right to Slum

Dwellers Act, 2017,the land right is heritable, but not transferable.

b) The Certificate of land right may be acceptable as evidence for residence proof.

c) The Certificate of land right may be mortgaged for housing loan from any financial institution.
