NOTIFICATION

The 7th September, 2018

No. 38738–HOME-HC-PWR-0002/2018/HS.–— In exercise of the powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of Section 32 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Acts, 2016 and in

supersession of Government of Odisha, Home Department Notification No. 51409/HC.,

dated the 21st September, 1988, the State Government do hereby empower all the Courts

of sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate and Cognizance taking Judicial Magistrate of First

Class of the State of Odisha to try offences punishable under the said Act within their

respective jurisdiction.
