NOTIFICATION

The 29th September, 2018

S.R.O. No. 402/2018— Whereas, the first meeting of the Corporation of

Berhampur Municipal Corporation was held on 30th September, 2013 and the five years

term of the said Corporation will expire on 29th September, 2018;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 48

of the Odisha Municipal Corporation Act ,2003 (Odisha Act, 11 of 2003) the State

Government do hereby appoint the District Magistrate, Ganjam as the Administrator to

exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the Berhempur Municipal Corporation and

its Mayor during the interval period between expiry of the term of the office of the

Corporators of the said Corporation till the date of the first meeting of the newly elected

Corporators.
