RESOLUTION

The 22nd October, 2018

Sub: Revisiting of the Odisha Elementary Education (Method of Recruitment and

Conditions of Service of Teachers and Officers) Rules, 1997 and amendments

thereof.

Considering the demands of the different Teacher groups and for bringing quality

education in Elementary Education in the State, Government have decided to revise the

existing Elementary Cadre taking in to account the following restructure:—

The above restructure will be implemented after amendment of the existing

Elementary Cadre Rule i.e.. The Odisha Elementary Education (Method of Recruitment

and Conditions of Service of Teachers and Officers)Rules, 1997 and amendments thereof

with due concurrence of General Administration Deptt, Finance Deptt. and Law Deptt. The

new cadre structure will be subjected to annual review.

The orders of creation and abolition of posts will be issued accordingly with due

concurrence of Finance Deptt.

This has been concurred by Finance Department vide their UOR No. 135/CS I(I),

dated the 2nd August, 2018.

ORDER

Ordered that this Resolution shall be published in the Extraordinary issue of

Odisha Gazette for general information.
