NOTIFICATION
The 3rd December, 2018
S.R.O. No.458/2018— Whereas, the first meeting of the Council of 20
Municipalities & Notified Area Councils, as specified in column (3) of the schedule below
was held on 4th December, 2013 and the five years term of the said Municipalities &
Notified Area Councils will expire on 3th December, 2018;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section
401 of the Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 ( Odisha Act 23 of 1950) the State Government do
hereby appoint the officers specified in column (4) of the said schedule as Administrator to
exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the respective Municipalities/ NACs and
its Chairpersons during the interval period between expiry of the term of the office of the
Councillors of the said Municipalities/ NACs in addition to their duties till the date of the
first meeting of the newly elected Councillors.
