NOTIFICATION

The 3rd December, 2018

S.R.O. No.459/2018— Whereas, the Sub-Collector, Jajpur and A.D.M., Koraput

was appointed as the Administrator of Vyasanagar and Jeypore Municipalities respectively

vide this Department Notification No. 26378/HUD., dated the 29th September, 2018 to

exercise the powers and perform the functions of Vyasanagar and Jeypore Municipalities

during the interval between the expiry of the term of the office of the councillors and date

of the first meeting of the newly elected councillors with the necessary quorum thereof;

Now, in supersession to this Department Notification No. 26378, dated the 29th

September, 2018 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section

401 of the Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 ( Odisha Act 23 of 1950) the State Government do

hereby appoint the Additional District Magistrate, Kalinganagar District Jajpur and P.D.

D.R.D.A. Koraput as the Administrator, to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of

the Vyasanagar and Jeypore Municipality and its Chairperson in addition to their own

duties until the council are constituted for the said areas in accordance with the provisions

of the said Act.
