NOTIFICATION

The 3rd December, 2018

S.R.O. No.460/2018— Whereas, the Sub-Collector, Nuapada was appointed as the

Administrator of Nuapada NAC vide this Department Notification No. 9215/HUD., dated

the 12th April, 2018 to exercise the powers and perform the functions of Nuapada NAC

during the interval between the expiry of the term of the office of the councillors and date

of the first meeting of the newly elected councillors with the necessary quorum thereof;

Now, in supersession to this Department Notification No. 9215, dated the 12th

April, 2018 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section 401 of

the Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 ( Odisha Act 23 of 1950) the State Government do hereby

appoint the District Magistrate & Collector Nuapada as the Administrator, to exercise the

powers and discharge the duties of the Nuapada NAC and its Chairperson in addition to

his own duties until a council is constituted for the said area in accordance with the

provisions of the said Act.
