NOTIFICATION

The 5th December, 2018

No.9174–SSEPD-DA4-DA-0004/2018/SSEPD.—

In

exercise of

the

powers

conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 101 of the Rights of Persons with

Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the State Government do hereby make the following

rules to amend the Odisha Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018, namely:—

1. (i) These rules may be called the Odisha Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Amendment Rules, 2018.

(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in Odisha Gazette.

2. In the Odisha Rights of the Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018—

(i) in form-II, Sl. No. 17 (g), for ‘two years’, ‘Three years’ shall be substituted.

(ii) in form-III, Sl. No. 5, for ‘Rule 45 of PwD Rules’, ‘Rule 9 of ORPwD Rules’

shall be substituted.

(iii) in form-III, Sl. No. 11(c), for ‘W&CD’, ‘SSEPD’ shall be substituted.

(iv) in form-III, Sl. No. 11(d), for ‘W&CD’, ‘SSEPD’ shall be substituted.

3. The Notification No. 7648/SSEPD., dated the 4th October, 2018 stands annulled.
