NOTIFICATION

The 7th December, 2018

S.R.O. No. 465/2018— Whereas, the first meeting of the Council of Phulbani

Municipality and G.Udayagiri Notified Area in the District of Kandhamal was held on 9th

December, 2013 and the five years term of the said Municipality & Notified Area Council

will expire on 8th December, 2018;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of Section

401 of the Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 ( Odisha Act 23 of 1950) the State Government do

hereby appoint the District Magistrate and Collector, Kandahmal and sub-Collector,

Baliguda to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of Phulbani Municipality and

G.Udayagiri, NAC and its Chairpersons during the interval period between expiry of the

term of the office of the Councillors of the said Municipality/ NAC in addition to their duties

till the date of the first meeting of the newly elected Councillors.
