NOTIFICATION

The 10th December, 2018

No.2534–ESTT-21/2007/UUC.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (2)

of Section 34 of the Utkal University of Culture Act, 1999 (Odisha Act 9 of 1999), the Board, with

the approval of Government, hereby make the following amendments to the First Statutes of the

Utkal University of Culture, 2001, namely:—

1. (1) These Statutes may be called the Utkal University of Culture (Amendment) Statutes,

2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Odisha Gazette.

2. In Statute 29 of the said Statutes, for clause (i) under sub-statute (3), the following clause

shall be substituted, namely:—

“(i) The application shall be accompanied by a Bank Draft for Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees

One Thousand only) of a Nationalized Bank at Bhubaneswar payable to the

Secretary to Government, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department”.

3. In Statute 31 of the said Statutes,—

(1) In Clause (vi), for Sub-Clause (4), the following Sub-Clause shall be substituted,

namely:—

“(4) Inspection Fee

…

Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only)”

(2) In Clause (vi), after Sub-Clause (5), the following Sub-Clause shall be inserted,

namely:—

“(6) Application Fee for Grant of Affiliation…Rs. 1,000/-(Rupees One Thousand only)”
