NOTIFICATION

The 14th December, 2018

No.39037–FIN-CT-I-CASE-0003-2013/F.— Government have been pleased to

appoint Shri Ramesh Sahoo, Advocate as Standing Counsel against the vacant post of

Senior Standing Counsel ( CT and GST ) for appearing before the Orissa High Court,

Odisha Sales Tax Tribunal and other courts and authorities.

2. The appointment will take effect from the date he assumes the office for

conducting cases of the Commercial Tax Organisation.

3. He would be entitled to a monthly retainer fee and daily appearance allowances

as per Finance Department Letter No.12245/F. dated the 10th April, 2017. The fees

payable will be regulated as per FD G.O. No. 39743/F., dated the 23rd July, 1987 as

revised from time to time and others terms and conditions laid down in the said G.O. of

Finance Department will also apply.

4. The appointment is terminable at any time with one month’s notice from either

side or on payment of one month’s retainer fee in lieu thereof.

5. He should not advise or appear in case either in the Orissa High Court or

elsewhere against the State Government or any of its Department.
