NOTIFICATION

The 14th January, 2019

S.R.O.No.16/19– Whereas the election of the Palasmundali LAMPCS which was

scheduled to be held on 30.09.2018 vide Notification No.964 Dt.12.07.2018, and further

Notification No.1481 Dt.11.12.2018 to conduct the fresh election on Dt.13.01.2019, could

not be conducted due to non-filing of nomination in any constituencies on the date fixed for

receipt of nomination i.e. on 10.09.2018 and 02.01.2019 respectively as per report of

Election Officers Dt.11.09.2018 and 02.01.2019.

Upon receipt of such reports and in the circumstances stated in Sub-Rule (1) (b) of

Rule 36 of OCS (Elections to the Committees) Rules, 1992, it is ordered to resume the

election process of the Committee of Palasmundali LAMPCS from the stage of filing of

nomination.

Now, therefore, Sri Pravakar Naik, SARCS, O/o the ARCS Baripada Circle is now

appointed as Election Officer to conduct the election of the Palasmundali LAMPCS and to

take up the election programme by publication of the schedule of election from the stage of

filing of nomination so as to conduct the poll, if necessary, on 17.02.2019 by following the

due procedure as prescribed in the OCS (Elections to the Committees) Rules, 1992.
