NOTIFICATION

The 16th January, 2019

S.R.O. No.18/2019— Whereas, the first meeting of the Corporation of

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation was held on 17th January, 2014 and the five years

term of the said Corporation will expire on 16th January, 2019;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (6) of Section 48

of the Odisha Municipal Corporation Act, 2003 (Odisha Act, 11 of 2003) the State

Government do hereby appoint Dr. Krishan Kumar, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary

Co-operation Department as the Administrator to exercise the powers and discharge the

duties of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation during the interval period between expiry

of the term of the office of the Corporators of the said Corporation till the date of the first

meeting of the newly elected Corporators.
