NOTIFICATION

The 21st January, 2019

S.R.O.No.21/2019– Whereas it has been brought to the notice of the Commission

by the Secretary, Phulbani Electrical Division Employees Co-operative Credit & Thrift

Society Ltd., vide his Letter No. 08 Dtd. the 3rd October, 2018 and Letter No. 16 Dtd. 10th

December, 2018 and the ARCS Phulbani Circle Vide his Letter No. 1505 Dtd.15 the

December, 2018 that Sri Kameswar Parida President of the said Society has retired on 30

th September, 2018 for which vacancy arises in the office of President of the Society. It

has been requested to fill up the office of President arising due to retirement. The vacancy

in the office of Member in Constituency No. 07(OBC/SEBC) due to retirement of Sri

Kameswar Parida, has already been filled up by nomination out of the same class of

members in respect of which the casual vacancy has arisen as required under proviso to

Section 28(6) of the OCS Act, 1962 and Sri Panchanan Parida was nominated as member

by the Committee on Dtd. 8 thDecember, 2018 vide Resolution No. 2 of Board Meeting

Dtd. 8th December, 2018 and

Now, therefore, it is ordered that only the vacancy in the office of President of the

Phulbani Electrical Division Employees Co-operative Credit & Thrift Society Ltd. under

Phulbani Circle shall be filled up in the same manner as it was originally filled up as

required U/s. 28 (6) of OCS Act, 1962.

Sri Sudhir Kumar Naik, Inspector of C.S., O/o. the ARCS, Phulbani Circle, Phulbani

is hereby appointed as the Election Officer to conduct the election of office of President of

the Phulbani Electrical Division Employees Co-operative Credit & Thrift Society Ltd., by

publication of the schedule of election from the stage of filing of nomination, so as to

conduct the poll, if necessary, on Dtd.27th February, 2019 by following due procedure as

prescribed in the OCS Act, 1962 & OCS (Elections to the Committees) Rules, 1992 and

Circulars/Guidelines issued by this Commission from time to time.
