NOTIFICATION

The 31st January, 2019

No. 1903– FE-II-CR-12/2016/FS&CW.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the

proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Odisha is pleased to

make the following rules to amend the Odisha Civil Supplies (Method of Recruitment and

Condition of Services of Inspector of Supplies) Rules, 2016, namely:—

1. Short title and Commencement:— (1) These rules may be called the Odisha

Civil Supplies (Method of Recruitment and Condition of Services of Inspector of Supplies)

Amendment Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Odisha Gazette.

2. In the Odisha Civil Supplies (Method of Recruitment and Condition of Services of

Inspector of Supplies) Rules, 2016 (here-in-after referred to as the said rules), in rule 12,

for sub-rule (3), the following shall be substituted, namely:—

“(3) A probationer after completing the period of probation to the satisfaction of the

Government shall be eligible for confirmation subject to passing of Departmental

Examination on Accounts and Law under rule 14 and availability of substantive vacancy in

the grade”.

3. In the said rules, in rule 14, for sub-rule (1), the following shall be substituted,

namely:—

“(1) Every member of the service shall have to pass the Departmental Examination

on Accounts and Law and in case one fails to pass such examination his/her annual

increments shall be withheld”.
