NOTIFICATION

No.1037–LL-II-FE-03/2017/LESI.— Shri Gopal Chandra Bisoi, Deputy Director of

Factories and Boilers, Jajpur Division is promoted to the post of Joint Director of Factories

and Boilers, Level-II in the Scale of Pay of Rs 15,600/- 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of

Rs.6,600/- (Pre-revised) corresponding to Level-13 of the Pay Matrix in ORSP Rules,

2017 with usual D.A. and other allowances as admissible from time to time against the

post downgraded vide this Department letter No. 1034/LESI., dated the 18th February,

2019 on ad hoc basis till 28th Feburary, 2019 i.e. the date of his retirement on

superannuation or till concurrence of Odisha Public Service Commission whichever is

earlier.

On promotion to the post of Joint Director, Level-II, Shri Bisoi is allowed to remain in

charge of the post of Director of Factories and Boilers, Odisha and he will exercise all

statutory powers as such under the Factories Act, 1948 and Boilers Act, 1923 with

immediate effect. During this period, Shri Kamalendu Mohapatra will discharge his duties

and responsibilities as Joint Director, Level-II in the Directorate of Factories & Boilers till

retirement of Shri Bisoi.

After retirement of Shri Gopal Chandra Bisoi, Joint Director Factories & Boilers

Level-II, on Superannuation i.e. on 28th February, 2019(A.N.), Shri Kamalendu

Mohapatra, Joint Director Factories& Boilers, Level-II, will remain in charge of the Director

of Factories and Boilers, Odisha and exercise all statutory powers under the Factories Act,

1948 and Boilers Act, 1923 until further orders.
