RESOLUTION

The 25th February, 2019

Sub: Restructuring of the cadre of Odisha Education Service School Branch

(OES-SB).

Restructuring of the Odisha Education Service (School Branch) was under

consideration of the Government for some time in view of expansion of school education

sector in the State and the consequential increase of work load and also to avoid

stagnation and to facilitate better career mobility of the officers of OES Cadre .

Accordingly, the cadre strength of the Odisha Education Service (School Branch)

will be as follows:—

The principle of inter-changeability of posting in the grades of OES II, OES (JB),

OES(SB), OES(ST), OES(SAG) , subject to maintaining the seniority of the reporting

officer and other senior officer in the PAR chain would be followed while posting the

officers in various capacities. It will provide flexibility to Government in posting of the

experienced persons in key positions in the field as well as various levels of Government

as per needs and requirements.

This will come in to force with immediate effect.

This has been concurred in by Finance Department vide their UOR No. 2170-ACSF,

dated the 24th November, 2018

ORDER

Ordered that this Resolution be published in the Extraordinary issue of

Odisha Gazette and copies thereof be forwarded to all Departments of Government/ all

Heads of Department/ Accountant General (A&E) , Odisha/ Accountant General (Audit) ,

Odisha / Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, Cuttack/ Secretary to Governor,

Odisha .
