NOTIFICATION

The 1st March, 2019

S.R.O. No. 83/2019— Whereas, Dr. Krishan Kumar, IAS, Commissioner-cum-

Secretary Co-operation Department was appointed as the Administrator of Bhubaneswar

Municipal Corporation vide this Department Notification No. 1212/HUD., dated the 16th

January, 2019 to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of Bhubaneswar Municipal

Corporation during the interval period between expiry of the term of the office of the

Corporators till the date of the first meeting of the newly elected Corporators.

Now, in supersession to this Department Notification No. 1212, dated the 16th

January, 2019 and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of Section 48 of

the Odisha Municipal Corporation Act, 2003 ( Odisha Act 11 of 2003) the State

Government do hereby appoint Shri Sangramjit Nayak, IAS, Director, Municipal

Administration as the Administrator, to exercise the powers and discharge the duties of the

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation in addition to his own duties until a Corporation is

constituted for the said area in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
